Coaching is different from the traditional helping modalities like Therapy or Consulting. It’s helpful to understand what Coaching is and what it is not.
Coaching vs. Therapy:
Therapistsusually help a client figure out “why” – looking into the past.
Coaches help the client focus on “how” – helping move the client forward.
Coaches focus on solutions. The past is only the focus of coaching as a learning/growing tool.
Coaches help release the energy the past has on clients so they can move forward.
The coaching partnership is a journey. Together we will work to identify what you really want, how to overcome anything that might be holding you back and get you moving forward in the direction you desire!
Coaching can be done in person, via tools such as zoom and teams or FaceTime or over the phone in 45 minute to 1 hour sessions. We don’t need to be in the same room or even the same city to get to where we’re going!
